2018 is the year that is known for being fashionable, unique, and new. Since the summer is rapidly approaching with warmer weather, it’s finally time to put your cute winter clothes back in the closet for a few months and begin picking out what outfits you’re going to wear when you are attending those music festivals, going out with friends, or just even walking around outside. Now lets finally get into the top 5 fashion trends that you should be wearing this summer and a few hints on how to rock them.
Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits have always been seen in the fashion industry, whether it was back in the 70’s or just last week. These pieces of clothing are like a traditional outfit: it features an upper piece and a lower piece – however, they are connected as one. Though, that’s the only defining feature in a jumpsuit nowadays due to the variations that designers have incorporated. Some of these jumpsuits feature a cut out in the back or the front, zippers, a waist belt, ruffles, lace, and everything else you can think off. If you plan on sporting this look this summer, you should match it with a pair of heels and matching earrings.
Sportswear
Even if you don’t plan on working out, many people have begun to incorporate fashionable sportswear into their everyday summer wardrobe. The materials are lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and usually stylish. The upside to wearing sportswear is that you can mix and match them with ease with other items in your closet. A nice pair of sportswear leggings could easily make your entire summer outfit look more colorful and fun.
Denim
Denim has been around for decades for a reason. Other than being a durable and function piece of material – it can also be used to make your outfit look even more lively and give you a down-to-earth classic feel. While denim can come in a multitude of colours, a lighter blue colour would be the best compliment for the upcoming summer. Though one of the best things about wearing denim this summer is the endless amount of options you have with this material, you can wear a: denim skirt, a denim dress, denim shorts or pants, and even denim rompers. Have fun choosing what you are going to mix and match it with.
Bright Pink
While this colour is on the bolder scale of things – designers have been incorporating it into more items of the 2018 summer collections. While many may see the colour as being too brash and hard to match with other items of clothing, a few ways to tone it down is by pairing it with black or white. These two colours are neutral and will draw some of the attention away from the bright pink.
Sheer Dresses
Sheer dresses are the fashion equivalent of being bold and having a lump sum of confidence. However, for the shyer girls who want to rock this look, you are in luck seeing how sheer dresses come in an array of transparency, colours, and padding. This summer, the best way to rock your sheer dress is by pairing it with a pair of solid colour heels (black, white, or grey). Though, if your sheer dress does not come with padding that covers some areas of your body, you can always wear a bralette and spandex shorts under the dress to give you some more comfort.
